Basic functions
The basic functions ensure the safe operation of the crane. The crane overload device constantly performs a number of checks to determine if all conditions are safe in order to precede the motion. If the crane overload device detects a potentially unsafe condition the movement will stop. Depending on the kind of fault, both lifting and lowering is prevented or in other cases driving in the opposite direction is allowed.Alarm point setting |
Early warning point |
When the lifting capacity reaches 90% of the rated lifting capacity, an intermittent sound and light alarm will be issued, but the ascending circuit will not be cut off. |
Delay alarm point |
When the lifting capacity reaches 105% of the rated lifting capacity, a continuous sound and light alarm will be issued with a delay of 2 seconds, and the ascending circuit will be cut off, but the descending will not be affected. | |
Immediate alarm point |
When the lifting capacity reaches 110% of the rated lifting capacity, a continuous sound and light alarm will be issued immediately and the ascending circuit will be cut off. |
