Basic functions
The basic functions ensure the safe operation of the crane. The crane overload device constantly performs a number of checks to determine if all conditions are safe in order to precede the motion. If the crane overload device detects a potentially unsafe condition the movement will stop. Depending on the kind of fault, both lifting and lowering is prevented or in other cases driving in the opposite direction is allowed.
